Hi everyone. I've been a fan of Rivieras since before I could drive and currently own a 63 and an 85 Convertible. I've been looking to add a last gen to the stable now for a few months but still not found the one I want.

I also am a board member in the Riviera Owners Association and wanted to get an idea from all of you if you belong and if not, why? I am new to the board and looking for ideas as to how to improve the magazine, including adding articles about the last gen Riv's and the many modifications that can be made to these underappreciated future classics.

Hope to hear from many of you regarding your thoughts and ideas.

Regards,

Darrell Ingold
Board Secretary
Riviera Owners Association

Welcome Darrell, hi

Dedicated, ROA member here! Know of some other RP regulars, also ROA members, and will let them introduce themselves if they desire. Love the Riview, especially whenever there is mention of gen 8s.
Ray Knott's on-going articles "Rivieras in Print" have assisted me recently in finding relevant 95 articles, puplications, and collectables yay .
Shop around carefully but DO add a Gen 8 to your fleet. Chime in here on RP with anything you deem relevant (Darrell is listed as a ROA Technical Advisor for 79s through 85s, teach)
Feel free to post pictures of your current Rivs in the SHOWROOM!

EDIT = 99Rivman was one of those regulars smile I mentioned, who posted his welcome whilel I was writing mine smile There's still others out there!

I'm also here. Although I currently don't own any gen8 Riv's, I used to own two (96 & 97) together that were our daily drivers. Both Randall and I have been honored by the forum in selecting our currently owned Riv's to the RP yearly calendars a number of times. Randall's 95 and my 92 will be in the 2015 calendar.

Thanks for the greetings everyone. Unfortunately there will not be a 2015 Calendar due to poor sales. We were only selling them for $10, so not sure why there was a lack of demand. If we can generate enough interest going forward, I will try to discuss it with the board to make another run of them, possibly for 2016.

Jim - I will post pictures of my Rivs soon, thanks!

Darrell,
Please excuse, we here are talking about the 2015 Riviera Performance Forum calendar that is currently being produced...not the Riviera Owners Association calendar.

Yea Jim, Ray Knott brought up the fact of no more ROA calendars at the National Meet in CO. Springs and also noted it in a recent Riview publication.  Kinda disappointing but very few members were buying so all leftovers were included free in the registration goodie bags.
