| really wasn't sure where i should post this.. noticed today at highway speed, only when its raining the car makes a constant popping noise. sounds like air/water fighting each other or something. sounds like its coming from the rear of the car.
anyone ever heard something similar?

| Sounds like a mis-fire due to moisture. How old are your plug wires and what kind are they.
Even if there relatively new, if their a poor quality, it could be your problem.

| the car isn't missing my aeroforce is set on a cyclic scan runs perfectly fine! I went out for a drive again and out of curiosity i opened my sunroof in vent mode while it was making the noise and it got really loud. so i put my hand in the corner by the drain tube and its coming from there sounds like air/water fighting in the tube. | |

| That happened to me one time in my SSEi. Turned out the tube was a little bit clogged. | |

Mine makes the same noise from the water drains. Been doing it for years. just got used to it. I'm afraid to use compressed air to clean the drains out in fear of popping the hoses off in the process. So I live with the noise when it rains and I have the roof open in the vent position. I don't hear it with roof closed.

| you can get a long "pipe cleaner" ans snake it down to clear the tubes. a hobby or craft store would have such things. If the clog is too bad this won't work. | |

| I figured atleast one isn't draining properly maybe I can pour some water down the tubes measure how long it takes to drain x amount of water, see if I can pinpoint the one that has the most debris and attempt to clean it. I am planning on taking out the headliner (and the whole interior) for a clean previous owners both had dogs and both smoked in the car. Maybe I will have better access to these tubes while the trim and such is out, maybe making cleaning easier? | |
