Nice that ROA posted a Gen 8 for their St. Charles meet.

Taking her with you to St. Charles? (tranny rebuilt ) If you or any one else attending has the time and inclination, would be nice to see some picture posts and meet commentary, here on RP, hint hint Have a great time

120 Rivs registered at this time, at least 13 of the last generation, once again the last generation makes up over 10% of the Rivs in attendance ...

Know that Dave "Ship" & Randal "99Rivman" are or will be in attendance . Both are ROA trustees and avidly support us here at Riv Performance   and within ROA. If we're  lucky, some photos from the meet might soon be posted

I apologize but I didn't take ANY pictures during the week. Perhaps Ship can post some? Jason Z has just posted a link to his pictures on the AACA forum, it is possible to view them without being a member.

Thanks for the re-direct Randal. Viewed Jason's slide show of the meet with envy! Great gathering of beautiful Riviera's. Gen 8s well represented which even included a couple of 95's  


Oh, and sooo noticed the fact that completed Vehicle Identification sheet for your 93 was not filled in via simple "Marks-a-Lot", but rather "LASER PRINTED, TO MILITARY SPECFICATIONS AND DRESS RIGHT DRESS - 99RIVMAN STANDARDS

Congratulations to Dave "Ship" Shipman for being recognized in the St. Charles ROA Winner’s Circle!!

The Winner’s Circle award, established in 1991 was designed to encourage fresh competition each year. The winners of Best of Show and First Place at National ROA meets would be exempt from judging for a period of three years. To encourage the return of these cars a special black glass award is awarded to the car, if displayed at the National meet.

Also a FIRST PLACE: for Randall "99Rivman" Crain for entry in the 1986 - 1993 series with a beautiful White 93.    Entered, presented and won by 99Rivmans lovely wife Gwyn.

There may be other RP members that participated at this years ROA National, if so please chime into this thread and so advise

Thanks, Jim. This was my 2nd year of 3yr stint in the winners' circle. Next year will be my last. I can re-enter the Riv for judging in 2017. FYI...2016 meet will be in Colonial Williamsburg, VA June 27-30.

Thanks, I kind of got the idea from another member and took it a step further, I used a picture frame for the Black '95 (Black) and the Silver Arrow (Silver), but couldn't find a white frame to use with the '93, guess I'll have to work on that part.

Those are passed out when you register, the ROA has been doing that sign for years.

I kind of get them ready before we leave for the meets and Gwyn puts the final touches on them at the meet ... while I am either "working" or off "talking Rivs" with other members

She does do a VERY good job!!!
