Hello everyone.

First off I have to say that this site is awesome. At first I wasn't sure if the project was going to work out but now that it is I am registering.

I bought a 96 riviera tan/tan with about 135K miles and was in rough shape. The po actually lived in the car for a while before moving to MT, the dog hair and grime worried me a little. A weekend, 13 magic erasers, lots of vacuuming, and cleaning chemicals was all it took to get the interior clean. After the move she parked the car for 3 years and occasionally drove it, the car ran and drove although rough. After some negotiation I got the car for $500. Drove it about 70 miles home with no major incidents. Changed fluids, ran about 2 tanks of gas through it, replaced the front suspension, and a few odd things to get the old gal back on the road. The car has little to no rust, florida title said the car came from arizona and the po said she didn't live near the coast in florida.

The riviera was brought out of retirement to be my winter time car/daily driver and is a very nice compliment to my 87 Mustang GT. The mustang set my bar pretty high for what I expect out of a vehicle and the riviera meets or exceeds that bar, also its not high strung like the mustang is  joker

A little bit about the mustang for those who are curious. Another find and a half. Sold new in deer lodge, MT (We dont use salt on our roads and home state. Bonus!). White paint and red interior. 117,000 miles, I am the third owner and my dad was the second. All original, unmolested, and numbers matching. Paid 3K for it. A little bit of surface rust in the traditional fox body mustang areas, nothing major yet.
