| So i got my starter solenoid and gas and everything is wired up and i plan on firing up the car today and once i plug in the battery, a bunch of dash lights come on, the cooling fans come on, and once i turn on the ignition, no starter turning, and the odometer and other lights flash.....
Has anyone encountered this. This doesnt involve too much hacking of wires, but there is no EGR, A/C, POWER STEERING, etc. the fuel pump works, it works real good, its loud as fµ©k!!!!
Ive been trying to read the VCM with HPTUNERS, but it cant detect it, im already in contact with bill from HPTUNERS and we're trying to work on that.
Last but hopefully not the problem. In the front of the engine bay, down by the starter, There are 2 wires that lead to a 2-prong female connector with black and brown wires. when i got the car, it had a paper clip in it, and after it blew up, i took it out. Does anyone know where it goes. Its empty now.
I so want to get this thing started today!!!!!!!

| mine did something like that before and it was because of the wiring for the aftermarket remote start. They used those crimps like everyone does and 1 got loose. | |

| Well the only things ive wired up since it was fine before were the fuel pump and starter. I just found a 29 page electrical diagram and pinout. Its a hell of alot better than the haynes manual which doesnt even say Riviera in it once. Hopefully i get it running by this weekend. http://home.att.net/~subzero350/index.htm | |
