Firefighter The original paint on our cars tends to crack, and that means the entire car needs to be stripped. Figure 10,000.00 for a nice job. I had mine painted for half that, but it was a friend of a friend. I don't ever expect a deal like that ever again. It took 6 weeks. He used my car as fill in work for when his guys were idle, and that is why it took so long, I didn't care. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

I thought mine was the only one. All vertical surfaces on mine are cracked. It was a real bummer when it happened. I figured it was from years of baking in the NC and TX sun then coming to the cold winter of Wisconsin.
