Anyone replaced the gas charged lift supports in their trunk? Looks like they just pry off on each end?

I looked in the manual to no avail. There are some things the FSM is good for and others it is not, this is one. I figured it out myself. Both ends push onto ball studs. To get the old ones off, there is a band clamp opposite the stud on the lift support. All you do is pry that clamp off with a small screwdriver, and it pulls right off easily. Installation is very easy, you just push them right on, the clamp expands and it pops on. They come with grease inside each end, so it is very easy. I bought the Monroe replacement lift supports on rockauto for 16.49 each.
