How long before new springs settle?

Put new Monroe Quick Struts up front and MA822's out back. Front is ridiculously high - with rears filled to level the car, it looks lifted! How long before the front goes down to stock?

I don't recall having this problem when I did mine. Did you replace the springs, or just the strut?

Quick Strut is everything.

Why did you use the Monroe quick struts? That problem was WELL documented. You could have avoided it if you did some research here. I used the Gabriel ready struts and had no issues.

Always been a Monroe guy.  Too late now.  Not helpful. Gabriel was always considered second rate crap compared to Monroe (back in the day)

Not in this case, I can't say enough good things about the Gabriels. Car rides great with them and there is plenty of control. I have the Monroes in the back and they work well.

Larry, I had my mind set on AC Delco complete units, but after your praise of the Gabriels I trust your knowledge and they are 50% cheaper. Pretty sure Belmore is done, the town called the police and we were thrown out Yesterday. Knuckleheads were burning out last week and ruined it for all.

I know, I was there. I found out too late that everyone went to Tri County Flea Market on 24. If they throw us out again next week, that is where I will go. Was talking to one of the P.O.s and he said there was no permit, but the town was working on one for next week. We may not be done just yet.

I went to the flea market, bring food there is nothing there. Hopefully the town will start it back up but we will see. Your buddy made it with the GS. I am looking forward to how much better my car will ride with the new front struts and sway bar mount bushings I found out I need. Not only is my car too high but it feels and sounds stiff.
