| So. I have had my 96 SC 230,000 mile Riviera for a week now, and I gotta say it runs and drives aswome, except the CEL had been on.
Finally got the Scan tool I ordered, and found I had the P1406, and P0171, so looks like I will be searching for a vacuum leak and replacing the EGR. Oh and a 1441, probably from me overfilling the gas tank.
It has all the records and it's had the coolant elbow, at least one done, ( not sure where the other is) but the one by the alternator is still plastic.
I bought the Dorman metal ones and AC Delco o rings.
But just looking at the injectors, I don't think they have been replaced. So I was thinking of just doing everything, injectors, lower gaskets, SC Gasket, elbows, TB gasket.
Does anyone make a top end kit, or do you need a full gasket set or just buy them individually?

| That second felpro kit comes with injector o rings, stat housing gasket, O ring, basically everything you need except the intake to SC gasket. That isn't good enough? _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| ...my guess is your LIM gasket is sucking wind, or you have a crack in the exhaust manifold.
While you are under there, look at the oil pressure sender. If it has oil around it, replace it - they tend to spray a mist of oil onto the block for a while before they fail, but when they fail they fail hard and your engine will wizz away its oil in seconds at highway speeds.
