| I see that it's "ribbed for her pleasure," but what else is different? Is it deeper-for-her-pleasure too? | |

| HAHA good one! Although it appears to be deeper, I believe the depth is the same because it does hold the same amount of fluid. I will say however the fluid still looks nice and bright red after running the old transmission hard for a few light 2 light pulls! Does not smell burnt like my old pan and Dex III used to treat me. | |

| I see now - those are cooling fins. At first glance I thought they were indented into the pan, but they stick out, and quite a bit! | |

They sure do! Its like a woman with her hair in the wind! If I were to guess they are at least 2in in length! I'll take a measurement later.

| It's going on my wish list, but I'm concerned about it scraping. | |

| This will be on top of our mod list when we start working on uncle's new Riv project. Close to 230k miles on the clock and it needs some TLC. Got to finish installing the suspension and brake kit from 4Wheelonline onto the Wrangler before we can clear the garage and take her in. | |

Looks interesting. IIRC the benefit of aluminum pans (oil and trans) was the cooling and the problem was they'd shatter instead of dent when you scrape something.

| I'd hate to have my transmission pan shatter. I think I'd rather have my finned pan in steel, for all the good the weight savings of an aluminum pan does on a 4000 lb car. | |
