| Finally I got this beauty registered to Finnish plates! Unbelievable that $4000 car costed me $17500 to drive and enjoy in my country!!! taxes alone only were over $11000! Ridiculous. If someone wondering that hideous little red light under rear bumper, its a MANDATORY rear fog light here in our silly country! Also had to add extra turn signals on front fenders and disable rear markers BECAUSE THEY ARE RED and in our very qestionable law its not allowed. Also added that BUICK logo on rear panel so no ones call it ROVER ANYMORE!!!!!! (Everyone here admires this thing and ask what is it=) But now its time to learn lots of fun things to do with this baby! | |

| Looks good. Welcome to the site. How come it cost so much just to register it? Thats rediculous to have to spend $11,000 to register a car. You must really love it to spend that much to register it. | |

You must really love it to spend that much to register it. What country are you in? I spent about $17500, but not to register it. Thats rediculous. You should have tried to regidter as a "Rolls royce" and see if it would be cheaper. Its an inside joke we get in the states. | |

| im guessing you're from Finland? the side makers dont look too bad, it kinda modernizes the sides since most all new cars have them. im not a fan of the buick logo's but the lettering on the tail light looks sharp! keep up the good work, and welcome to the forum! _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Thanks for complements! But its true that its very expensive to import a car from another country. As you can see from my tax sheet, I dont bulls**t.... http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/iso/img548307.jpg I also paid customs fee which is 10% of shipment and price of a car combined. And 22% tax which is imposed to everything that is saleable here. To addition is this horrible cartax. Soooo not much money left to tinker with a car, yet! | |

| That a lot of change for a 11 year old car. Can't imagine what it cost to bring a brand new one over. | |

| Welcome to the forum! What originally made you want to import a Riviera over there? That must be pretty cool to have drive a Riviera there. Your car looks good and look forward to see what you have in store for it. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2
