| I left the remote for my head unit on the cup holder door. Then by accident opened the door, and the remote disappeared like magic. | |

| It's easy. The vertical part of the console pulls straight out. It's held on by four push-in tabs. If you want pictures, look in my dash and door removal thread. LinkIf you need to pull the center console too, I think I've got pics in the BD Trims Dash Kit Review/Install thread - Link | |

| Any chance I can get in there from behind?
Otherwise I'll have to wait a couple of weeks to get in there due to a back injury.

| It's much easier to pull the console than getting on the floor and trying to reach behind. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I'd think pulling the center console would be easier than the process of getting into the Riv with a back injury in the first place. Or getting into the Riv without a back injury | |

| Getting in and out of the Riv isn't bad at all, now if it had lighter doors.... As for getting in out of cars, my friends Altimas, Corollas, and my Vette..they suck.
I'll have my brother see if you can reach it without pulling anything apart. If not, it'll have to wait a month.
