| Missed you at the meet...Jack ... Eric?!? I was at the Steak n Shake in Brownsburg Monday morning as advertised. The meet was great, you all missed a great time! Copied from the ROA website."Over 260 wonderful people, 112 beautiful cars, perfect weather, and a great location." Here is a picture of most of the Show Field, around 70 Rivieras ranging from '63 to '99. The GSs, Convertibles, and Modifieds are below this view and to the right. As jimmyriv mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised to win the '86-'99 Class again this year, with my Black '95.I was kind of busy finishing putting the Riv together and a few finishing touches, so I didn't get too many pictures this year. There are plenty that can be seen at this link: http://rides.webshots.com/album/563899243jqjSQz Next years Meet is in Sacramento, CA, 2700 miles from me, so I don't think I'll be going to that one. The next year, 2010, it will be back on the East Coast somewhere so you can bet I'll be there! | |

| It makes me sick I missed it this year let alone not being able to meet everyone up in Brownsburg especially since it's 15min away. I had been looking forward to it several months prior- in fact, my father was going to ride along with me up for breakfast and we were going to ride with the "convoy" for an hour or so. I had even postponed my paint job until after the meet so I'd have my car avialable. Unfortunately, life throws you curveballs every now and then and mine came at the worst time. It looks like you had beautiful weather and a great turnout. Who knows, I might take the trip to CA next year (I bet we'll see some west coast customs!). Congrats on Best of 85-99 Class. You represented us well.
I have already began to think of my next project after paint and interior of my '97. I want another '64 but have you ever seen photos of the marine and drag raced motors that were "reversed"??.. a little hint of things to come... | |

| Congrats on first place Randall, much deserved to be sure. It's been a crazy past six weeks for me. My wife ended up having a Kidney removed the weekend of the meet. There will be other meets, maybe next year. I've planned on going to the last three and something has always prevented the trip. 2006 my car was broken into, 2007 I was out of the country, and now 2008 kidney cancer. She is doing fine by the way. All cancer removed and she'll be back on her feet in five weeks, cancer free! We'll meet up eventually! | |
