| Add another person to that list. I'm a bit farther out than you two are, but if the price and location are right I'll do it. | |

| Subject: Zzp PCM 1.0?? Sat Oct 12, 2013 11:31 pm | |
| Hi guys, does anyone know where I could find a intense PCM? Online or something for my 1996 riviera supercharged?
The PCM on zzp.com says it will only work for 1997 or up. Is this true or will this PCM work for mine?

| Your '96 uses a different program for shifting the transmission, among other things. You will need a '96 program to work with your '96 PCM. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Buy a 97-98 PCM and a DHP Powrtuner. Then compare the two bins and delete the differences. It's pointless unless you put in a 4T65E-HD transmission though since you wouldn't gain any real advantages from the new PCM. Just buy a tuner/scanner and go from there. Do some small mods first, like the plugs, thermostat, pulley, intake, etc. And as always, read through the forum. There's enough here for a good read without being excessive or redundant and we like to keep it that way. https://rivperformance.editboard.com/t23-faq-modding-101-how-to-increase-acceleration-performance | |

| Subject: Tune 96 supercharged? Wed Nov 13, 2013 12:05 am | |
| Hi guys i have done a lot of research trying to find ways to tune my 1996 supercharged. a lot of people have said the dhp power tuner but i cannot find one anywhere, with links or anything, i have had no luck. i love my riviera but i just put the 180 degree thermostat in and my car just runs so good, the engine and transmission is strong. i want to start downsizing pulleys but i can't figure out what i could use to tune my riviera, if anyone with a 96 could help me out or sell me a dhp power tuner, advise or anything let me know.
Thanks. | |

| I have found some info on this site and from what I have gathered it's possible to tune with the DHP power tuner however you need a .bin file thats already loaded for a 96?? I don't think I ever found a clear answer either but I think I remember people successfully doing it. | |

| AA please save this. We need as many backups as possible. 99% sure this is the version that unlocks all cars so that the 96's can be tuned.
Here is my Dropbox. I'll eventually put my .bin in and anyone else is welcome to store there's here. I have no problem keeping a backup of everyone's tune. And, of course, I will keep the DHP software in there just in case.

| Not compatible with the 96. You just gotta snag a DHP while you can. I just posted the software for it right above your post. | |

| Your link to these tuners, what kind of boxes are these? Are they the tuners or how do I hook them up? I'm still figuring out cars so cut me some slack if you can. | |

| You can still buy the boxes here
http://www.avt-hq.com/price.htm
Really the only thing you're missing out on is the support from DHP themselves. No big deal IMO. | |

| They're literally the exact same thing as if you were to buy a DHP from the people that made them, minus some branded packaging. They just hook up to a laptop (preferably with XP) and then into your OBD-II port. | |
