| Hi Guys.
Having trouble finding out exactly what's wrong with my 99 Rivi.
I need to get a scan tool.
Since I have vehicles that are OBD1 and OBD2, I'm pretty sure the Auto X-Ray EZ Scan 6000 is the way to go.
What do you guys think?
BTW, I doubt I'll ever do any tuning myself. I just need a scan tool.

| I'm addicted to AutoTap. I also have the DHP PowrTuner, which includes scanning software, but I don't use it because AutpTap has a much better interface, imo.
Available for Palm or Laptop: http://www.autotap.com/productcat.asp?topLevelid=36
Does't really matter though which one you buy. Just having the ability to scan is a huge benefit! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I ordered a Auto X Ray EZ Scan 6000 that comes with everything to scan OBD1 and OBD2 vehicles. It also comes with the attachment to check the battery / charging system.
$315.99 shipped.
I used to have an Auto X Ray EZ Scan 3000 (only read OBD1) and liked it.
Hopefully I can find out what is really wrong with this car now...
Thanks again for the help guys.

| Any chance you still have the 3000? I've been looking for an OBD-I tool. | |
