| Must be the transmission making that sound. Wow, that blower is loud!
It seems quicker than it is. My clock shows 0-60 mph in 6.4 sec, 0-100 mph in 17.7 sec. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Probably because its a manual trans,it works kinda like our bypass valve. most centrifugal blower kits come with one. Probably the wrong pulley size for his app. | |

| In one video, he said he can "turn the blower on/off". _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| they have the eaton set up like a centrifugal would be - with a blow off valve and intercooled. Makes sense because theres no way they are mounting it right on that engine. But ya, that explains the BOV sound. As far as the on / off thing, it might just be that they have a demand open bypass valve set up on it. I doubt they went through the hassle of clutching it.
One thing that I can tell you is that positive displacement blowers are kind of designed to be pretty much directly on top of the intake so It would have been much more beneficial for him to have snailed it but it's definitely unique and pretty awesome sounding IMO.

| Come to think of it though, the eaton might have been a very wise choice since he's never going to max out the boost through the blower with an N/A engine and he's got the great torque from the blower design | |

| after watching the "walk around" video, you can see he has what appears to be an A/C clutch set up on the eaton so yeah, it looks like he does have a fully on/off blower. Funny thing is its hooked up to his stock A/C button. pretty neat
That's more like the mad max rig there Mercedes uses more of a proportional vain system thats much smoother and reliable since you don't have this clutch
