| About 240 HP at the crank (~200 WHP). You may get away with it on a dyno, but expect to see significant KR with that pulley drop on the street. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| how are you going to tune it? AA's estimates sound about right. brand new your engine had 225hp IIRC. FWI adds ~5, pulley adds maybe ~15. so 240/245 if you have 0 KR and are using the most of your air/fuel. you really should look into doing a DP or Plogs to keep knock down if the tune doesnt do it. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Being an S1, Plogs shouldn't fit.
The S1 manifolds are a much better flowing manifold than the S2 front manifold. Rears are about the same. The one thing to check for on an S1 front manifold is cracks. This is a very common issue and will show itself in the form of KR.

| Also I think 103 plugs are too cold for your car. 104's or NGK TR55 would be a better choice | |

| Agree, the 103s are for high-boost applications, or at least WOT all the time situations, not usually daily driving. They could foul quickly in a lightly modded car. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| To run that pulley safely you might want to port and polish your M62. That should help you run KR free with a 2.5" pulley. | |

| Must read the fine print... they are covering their butts, so when your engine makes a strange sound, or loses power, they told you so...
"The recommended sizes are NOT conservative. They are the smallest size you should run on a stock or mildly modified engine..."
What this means to me is, the 2.5" pulley is NOT conservative. It is the smallest size you should run on a mildly modified engine, forget about trying it stock. If it were me, I'd want to know where are the the 2.6" or 2.7" pulleys? Why are you forced to ride so close to the edge? What if you get knock? Good questions for Pulleyboyz, imo. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Before you decide to start moding your series 1 give it the best tune up possible. Things like O2 sensor, fuel filter, weld any and all cracks on your exhaust manifolds, etc. For stock you have a pretty good exhaust. The main problem is the M62 supercharger. It spins very fast and because of that it gets very hot. The reason I mentioned porting on the other post is because the best begining mod for any series 1 L67 is to port and polish your supercharger and LIM. The casting for both is very rough and there is plenty to smooth and port. By at least polishing you will be helping keep the air coming in and out of the supercharger cooler, thus more oxygen to burn in each charge.
If you do decided to go with the 2.5" pulley, you can get one off a 92/93 series 1 L67, because that Gen 2 M62 came with a 2.55" pulley from factory.
