yes i think i have lost my mind, im not sure if i can do the F-body brake conversion cuz mine is a 95 but if not i got what i need to do my set up. give me some input. also im looking for a lowering kit

but it's FWD? I would never do that to an FWD car, especially something as balanced as the Riv...

oh my bad, I totally misinterpreted what you said. I thought you were telling me I had no reason to criticize his ideas because my Riv wasn't running... I didn't realize his wasn't either. How many Riv's on this board AREN'T running?

i like those rims, but i couldnt find a bolt pattern on the site. do they fit?

to do the f-body brake upgrade you would need the lower knuckles from a 97+ riv. if youre swapping out front struts or shocks you already have the knuckle mostly off, so why not swap it out?

I like the rims, especially having a lip on them. I plan on putting fatter tires on the back of mine (even though it's FWD). I just like the look. They won't stick outside the fender. I even thought about a slight mini tubbing. Like you say, it's personal opinion and taste. But, I'm not running mine up a track so I don't need to worry about extra drag.
I agree with Matt, if you have the time to put the car down, do the F-body upgrade. It's on my list of "to do's".
As far as lowering it. Intrax makes a 2" drop that should fit. Although mine were on order for ten months and never came through, or you can get the Eibach's with the 1" drop. Otherwise, you'll have to bag the car.
