| Melted snow droplets/wet sheetmetal contest.Pics of first handwash halfway down this page.Spring foliage pics.Second handwash, first thing I did on my summer vacation, and porthole pics here.Autumn photo-op(60+ photos) and mid-Winter cleanup here.New Thrush 2.25" glasspack mufflers here.Fenderwell intake, air scoop, and thick chrome grille here.LED tail light centers(eyes in the back of her head)/blue LED reverse lights, and nighttime photo-op here.I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it, and now I really appreciate that crease that runs from the headlights back, and I'm having a blast taking pics of it with my Kodak V-610! Since it's my first car, and an excellent one at that, I don't plan on racing it or messing around with the engine, so don't expect me to show up in those forums. Instead, I'm gonna shine it up 'till you can see your face in the VINYL! My mods on this car are two Infinity Reference 9623i's in the back and the 5022i's for the front, and the speakers are so good I don't need an amp! I also have a stick of blue neon under the driver's side dash. Speaking of blue, I recently installed my 6000K HID lights, and I made a write up here: Link. I don't plan on chroming the grille anymore, because the strips won't be exactly vertical and won't look as fit-and-finished as the rest of the car, in my opinion. Either way, enjoy, and thanks for welcoming me! Here's the neon my dad and I put in. It's more of an accent than a showpiece the way we mounted it. Happy New Year!

| Just came home as the last bit of orange sunset light was going through the woods, and I snapped this before it got dark. I love my car so much, and I'm sure she loves me too. | |

| You'll notice in the first pic that the logo is cracked inwards. I fixed this, and here's a pic of it. | |

| Our big, happy family. My mom's '00 SL2 with 150k miles, my dad's '03 VUE with 119k, and my '95 Riviera with 85k. Funny how my car has less miles than our newest car(my dad's a teacher in the city, so he has to drive there and back 5 days a week), yet is older than our current oldest. We buy our family cars new, btw, not used. My car is our family's first used car since my dad's 1968 Sedan DeVille back in the mid-80's, and that was luck that brought him across that boat. My sister's only 13, so she doesn't have a car, durr. And I'll cram some other shots in here. You guys get all that? I usually don't do so much per post, lol!

| I don't mean to seem cocky, but if I do win the ROTM for Jan. or Feb., I took the liberty of cutting out the pic I want for the banner, and color-matching the background. Here it is. I would also like to nominate this pic for the 2009 Calendar for January. Note, I cropped my mom's car out, AA, so this is a different pic than posted before.. | |

This is your thread, IBx1. You can post as much as you like! Thanks for getting the calender pic ready. Good luck in the contest. As for the calender submission, we'll start a thread sometime to collect images. Please submit your image, uncropped and unsized, at that time. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Alright. The original pic is actually 30"X40," and good for enlargements to about 37.5"X50." So it'll print quite well on an 11"X8" calendar. Would I wind up emailing you the hard .JPG file? | |

| Thanks to everyone who voted for me, this is a great way to be introduced to the forum! Enjoy the big game Sunday, I'll be rooting for the Giants! I even made a car in Forza 2 on my Xbox 360 for the game! Even if neither of the teams come from your home state, at least you have an excuse to ! | |

| By the way, these are my newest pics for ROTM March '08. If I had to pick, then #2 of that last set of 12 would be the money shot. Speaking of money, I've always wanted to put this guy in here Now I am happy! | |

| This is my tool of the trade. A Kodak V-610 digital camera. It's still the world's smallest 10X optical zoom camera, and it has embedded bluetooth technology. The bottom lens goes from 1X-5X, then the top lens goes from 6X-10X, and then the 5X digital zoom gets you a maximum of 50X overall zoom. Although the digital zoom gets blurry, you can still take some high-detail shots, but I stop at 10X unless I'm looking at the tops of trees. 6.1 megapixel shots, and the 2GB memory card takes 1,058 of those, or 58:00:00 of TV quality, 30 fps, 640 x 320 video. SLR's just cost too much. I'm not a professional so I don't need a $1,100 lens with a $700 camera. Although, if you hand me one I'll work wonders...but I don't need one. | |

| Nah, they're put on from the inside. I did that because you can't really hear them from the outside, but once you're inside it's an all-exclusive party of loud bass, high treble, and rich mids. You think "Buick doesn't have good speakers like this, what am I listening to?" and you look out the window and realize "wow, this is a kick-ass Riviera because it has Infinity speakers!" Now get out there and vote Alex for ROTM March '08! | |

| you are absolutely right it's a very expensive hobby.if you don't need one don't get into this. But yes-you can't beat a picture taken with one of these animals,i know my brother has 3.He's got 2 Canon EOS 1s Mark III-that's 21 MP it costs $8000 body only, and 1 Nikon D3 as a back-up.??crazy a?The RAW files are amazing you can zoom-in endlessly without losing quality.I am waiting for the Olympic games and am getting Nikon 3x. | |
