| What kind of supporting mods do you have for that pulley... you should at least have a cooler range spark plug like autolite 104s and a 180 degree thermostat. | |

| if you dont have a downpipe or a tune you would probably make more power on a 3.6 inch pulley ......... but with this cold air you may just luck out and you'll have yourself a FREE intercooler........... | |

OH MAN.............. well you really shouldn't drive it again until you get a tune and downpipe and rockers.......... thats a really small pulley to be on there. OR you should really put a 3.6 inch pulley on........ what kind of gas do you run? | |

| Yeah those are factory heat range plugs and dual tipped platinum sounds like it might be a little hot... i highly reccomend a 180* tstat and autolite 104s at least... the plugs have a lesser insulator and will release heat better and hence forth probably wont melt... and a 3" in downpipe will probably help out a lot too... | |

| your burring up plugs becuase those are way too hot of a heat range to run more than stock boost. you NEED AL104 copper plugs to keep from changing out plugs weekly. also you SHOULD be running way cooler than 200* stock t-stat is 195* which is ok for normal driving but if your looking for a perofrmance edge or if you increase boost (heat) then you sould get a colder 180* t-stat. please read the series II FAQ and mod section before you do permanent damage to your engine! have you scanned then engine with that 3.4" on there? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | ZZP reccomends a 3.5" on a stock motor... this is referring to the w-body cars which have u-bends in the exhaust...ours dont... they say a 3.4" pulley will work on a car with a CAI , some exhaust work and cooler plugs and tsat...while just those two alone might not be ideal to run a 3.4" pulley...it is possible... and if you look in the riv modding guide it doesnt mention needing exhaust before a 3.4" pulley... so he shouldnt have too much of a problem with cooler plugs and with the cold temps...but before it warms up he should get a at least a 3 in downpipe...and if he hasnt already gut the airbox. | |

| good... then just add the plugs and tsat and get a downpipe or headers ( depending on how far you plan on taking the car ) before it starts getting hot and you should be fine. not perfect... but perfectly driveable | |

| Did it eat plugs before you put the 3.4" SC pulley on?
Are you scanning during WOT and seeing zero KR the whole time? _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Colder air is denser. Higher PSI in the winter. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
