I'm doing more research on this one. Thought I was the first to do it.. and found out I wasn't.

Not sure exactly how my friend did it... but I've got the question into him and awaiting a reply. Might have a better way to toss the electric WP onto our cars.

Only thing I can see is a larger tensioner pulley (if my eyes are working correctly). If that's the only thing needed...how cool would that be?

How streetable are the electric pumps though? Do you think they'll outlast a mechanical pump? That's why I've always balked at the electric pumps... If there was a way for them to outright replace the thermostat, now that would be cool. Some kind of temp sensor based flow control wink

Plus you could jack the flow rate up and temp down if you were using my heater hose pump free IC idea wink

Good points. I've always been turned off by the price of electric water pumps. What are they, at least $250, right?
