| I did see your car one day! it was a few months ago though...have you seen the older guy who has the convertible Riviera? its a champagne color. I live at 13 and Gratiot and Ive seen him out there 3 times now so I assume he lives in St Clair Shores. | |

| What's up everybody I kno it's been a while. I almost sold my Rivi for a 2 door tahoe but changed my mind. I still have her and she's got 201,000 miles as we speak. She needs a little love though. Is there anyone in the Detroit area that can help me out? Also is there anyone that has a multifunction switch for sale? Please email me back Anoswal@yahoo.com | |

| I thought I saw you near Livernois and onc again on Gratiot. But I think theres another two tone Riviera out here too. This one is black and white. What type of multifunction switch are you referring to? I got my cat removed on my old Riviera and a straight pipe welded on for $50, the I went and sold the cat for $65. I think I got robbed because I had heard cats were going for around $100, but the metal was all broken up inside of mine. Either way, it was basically an even exchange. If I can find a way to keep the SES light off the dash, Id do it again. | |

| I'm talkin about the lever that controls the blinkers wipers etc. Also thers a place in grand rapids called zzperformance.com that makes o2 sensor simulators for our cars it'll make your ce light go away. I think it's like $65. | |

I got an O2 simulator....you need one if you get rid of the cat otherwise ur car will run like feces.....the PCM needs the O2 input to adjust the fuel accordingly.

Actually, the PCM uses the upstream HO2S to tune the engine, which isn't affected by a cat-delete. The simulator replaces the downstream sensor which is only there to test the health of the cat, and turn on the SES light so you'll do your part for clean air and replace the cat...

| It was at the location on the west side. For some reason, the east side NEVER has Rivieras, but the west side always has at least one, and a ton of Grand Prix's. The east side one is pretty much all picked over. I saw one that was attached, and the other one was completely gutten. COMPLETELY. Even the subframes to the dashboard.
Thats where I go to get alot of stuff that either costs too much at autozone, or to easily replace a rare part (such as a switch in your case) because theyll only charge about $5-$10 for one.
As far as that O2 sensor being removed with the cat, I didnt notice any sluggishness in the driving. In fact, it moved a little bit quicker and had a slightly better sound to it as well. Aside from that light, I was thoroughly pleased.

| Eldo, your right . Shame on me!....but the PCM does go into a "default" mode if that sensor is missing, and would give the appearance of being quicker as all your power bands would change slightly. The sound difference is simply because your missing a form of muffling LOL muffling....that's my new word | |
