| I run a 255-45-17 on an 8" rim and they fit fine, but I do get a little rub/tick on a full-wheel-lock right turn. Haven't climbed under there to figure out why yet, but I will this summer.
How wide a tire you can run all depends on how wide your rims are.

| the best way to make sure they do not wear out when your using other size rims/tyres.(16'' 225/60 was from facotry as i know)
i buted 18'' 245/40 the tyres are alot wider and a bit smaller on diameter. and the offset isent same anymore. so it will change some things like tyre angels. if the car is old it probely has driven sometimes through some bumps and what ever has been on road. that makes the bushings bad/soft. when you got wider tyres and accelarete then the tyres on front start to move together. and whit a diferent tyre angel it starts to wear out outer and inner sides of the tyre.
the best to do for not having this problem is changin g the bad bushings when your car has some and after that go into a workshop where you can let them to a 4 wheel mesurments. they will fix the angels so the tyres will stayy allways straight.
and other thing what makes tyres wear out fast is wrong tyre pressure!
(i know my english sucks like hell lol! but atleast i truyed to explane...not sure if that makes any sence or not but i hope it dos)

I'm really thinking about getting those tires. There is also a 4 tire package available of the same thing but I'm just gonna do 2 tires right now and see how I like them.
Any thoughts on that particular product? I don't know tires terribly well but that looks like a decent one.

| I run 255/40/zr19 100y which will hit the fender in the rear over a big bump, with 9 inch wide rims. turning i rub when in a full lock turn, but the performance benefits are so worth it.....btw they are falkens, | |

| I'm going to be asking you some questions later Travis. Do you have some pictures? I just want to see at least what that size looks like in the fenders and whatnot. If anything, I'm just gonna get the two right now and use them on the front.
btw Travis has anyone given you greif about your current sig yet? something like: "SuperCharged Riv 3800's were sooooo 2 and a half years ago... Bring on the Turbo....cause turbo 3800's aren't sooooo 2 and a half decades ago...

| i blew out one of my tires yesterday, and i have the 12 spoke wheels which i believe are 7" wide. What tires could i use on this rim without having to worry about the computer or speedometer (possibly 245/50/16s)? I have 235/55/16s on now, but those are difficult tires to find. Im just trying to widen my search. | |

235/60/16 is damn close 245/60/16 is pretty close but good luck finding that size 255/50/16 is reasonably close (better part of an inch smaller diameter than stock)
