| i know. just curious what it will look like. i can buy a attachment for a hammerdrill that will flatten that area out. wonder what the rivi will look like without them? | |

| It wouldn't look funny if all of your chrome parts were black. I think it will look a lot funnier with no trim at all. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| not if i flatten out the area! thats what im planning. if i cant find the trim. i can add a formed metal arch to the trim area, roll the edge, and lightly fill in,and paint. i think it would look great. a first! for a rivi. a family friend has a hot rod shop, maybe i can bribe him with a couple of 24 packs of bud light? this guy has a english wheel and everything!........ btw,i saw a (no lie) a 745 BMW with that kind of paint scheme, black side mirrors, blacked out chrome all the way around, high gloss black rims on white body,it was profesionaly done for sure, but it just looked....i dont know...out of place. im sure the owner thought it looked ..dope! a two tone rivi with ROLLS ROYCE midnight blue sides ,a thin black line following the rivi lines, with silver hood and trunk lid is what im planning sometime in the future..... | |

| Here's mine with the trim off. Might actually look good if you ground away the inside flange. Would be a little tricky to match with the rocker and bumper mouldings... _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

I dont like the trim myself either, but you can get replacement trim -either new or used. new its like over $100 and its kinda hard to find used, but they pop up on ebay (ed morad's shop - you can email him to but if its not on his ebay shop he probably aint got it in stock). I picked up 2 off here for about $60. Just check the parts section everyday - they usually go quick. | |
