| I just purchased a 95' Riviera s/c with 68k and am interested in getting a little more power out of this beast. I have been looking around, but so far little information is out there for the series one. Am i screwed by having a 95? can anyone shed some light on this topic? and input will be greatly appreciated. | |

| Dropping a replacement K&N panel air filter will make your gas pedal much more responsive, and let you hear that supercharger more. Don't think you're getting a raw deal by having a '95. I love mine, and there's always plenty of torque. | |

| How much power are we talking about? There is more power to be had , but a lot of it if not all would be homemade and custom parts....not that its ridiculously had to do any of it. I suppose you could do exhaust and cold air or fenderwell intake. theres a site that used to exist that is apparently gone now that had series I performance parts...but if you have high goals like 260+hp you should probably trade in for a 96-99 , the later year the better generally speaking. | |

| General performance tip: Think of the engine like a big air pump. More air in and out means more power. Make sure the air can get out, especially in a supercharged engine, getting the air in is easier to do. Exhaust is important.
As for available parts, there is a small market for the series I but it seems the best known website just went away for that. There are some series I performance parts available but much much more for the series II (96-99).
Good luck! The '95 is a decent performer anyway, and you can at least change the pulley easily! | |
