So now that I've put in the orders for everything I could possibly need to do the ignition coils, spark plugs, wires and oil change(s), is there anything in particular I should look out for? I've got a copy of the shop manuals on the way to go with all the parts and tools, but thought I'd ask around here since you guys have hands on experience actually working on the 8th - gen riviera. help

- I know reaching the rear bank of spark plugs can be a pain, so any tips on how to make the process easier would be appreciated.

The rear plugs aren't that bad, even the deepest one. You'd have to be massive in the arms not to be able to snake your way in there. Remember to disconnect the battery, and don't remove more than one wire at a time, and you'll be fine.

You should also do the air filter, fuel filter, and supercharger oil. Pump some grease into the fittings on the rear suspension. Some people change the brake and steering fluid yearly. I haven't done mine yet but mean to.

The Sweet Project Cars YouTube channel is full of detailing and maintenance tricks.

I was wondering if you used the search function on this site. You will find instructions for the tune up in the write-ups. . You will also find guidance about what to do besides the routine stuff .. like clean the engine grounds.

I changed the rear plugs on my 95 from under the car, easy.  I do have a pair of small car ramps to drive  onto.
