| i snapped half of one of those black vents that spin and open..i broke the passenger side one...how do i remove/replace it...i saw some of u removed them for guages...whatd u do..ahhhhhh | |

| If you want to do it "properly" you need to remove the dash so you can unclip the honeycomb grille that is behind the spinning part of the vent. Once the honeycomb is removed, the vent just slides out.
The dash is a lot of work to remove and you'll probably break some clips in the process, so just try and carefully pry out what's left. You can't break it anymore than it already is -- as long as you don't screw up the trim ring on the dash.
I've replaced one vent without removing the dash, a little tricky but entirely possible - once you have the original out you will see how best to put the replacement in. Sorry but t's a little hard to explain though because it's not exactly the proper way to remove it... | |
