| I haven't done one myself yet, but someone I know has his "T" 'd into a hard plastic line that runs across the rear valve cover. I really like his setup, he has an oil pressure gauge and boost gauge mounted in place of the ash tray. I'll have to post a pic. | |

| the cover closed on both setups i had in the same location, but i trimmed a little off of the lip on the cover the second time. havent seen a pillar setup, but i dont like them normally and think it would be even worse in this scenario since it wouldnt keep up w/ the sleeperness of the car. i cant remember which illumination wire i tapped into or how i did it anymore. | |

| um i went to that site that shows how to put the boost gauge in on the Pontiac and I'm confused as to how you can measure boost using a vacuum path. Are there any ports below the roots on the manifold?
So the best place to run hoses and such through the firewall is through that plastic section near the brake pedal?

what year is your riviera? No one has made a write up on putting a boost guage into a riviera. The pontisc is basically the same engine (note the eninge in the link is a series 1 L67) .

| the T is the best place to tap into, but as far as going through the firewall IDK. that water shield over the rack and pinion sounds like a good route. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | its stubborn, use a flat screwdriver or something of the like. just be careful not to push laterally too hard on the plug its self because i think its plastic | |

if we are talking about the same thing (the vac. plug that's circled in the picture) then yes, that's what I connected my vacuum gauge to
