| they dont make a cold air intakes for our cars.(there is'nt much riv specific aftermarket) only hot air intakes if you want a good intake then make a FWI our of 4" PVC and stick a k&N cone on the end in the fender. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | how much do the k and n cone filters run for? i gutted my airbox yesterday, looking for a little bit more, clever though aaron, best bang for free? agreed | |

| mmk, I found the guide. seems fairly simple, but i'm still kind of puzzled on what size filter to use :< also, whether or not he used pvc glue on each fitting or if he just pushed them together | |

| I made this write-up. I did -> NOT <- use glue on the joints. You need to be able to rotate the pipes to their ideal position and be able to take it apart afterwards if necessary. If I were to do it again, I would use a silicone reducer coupling on the engine and a smaller S&B powerstack 7" filter with a 4 or 4.5 inch flange inside diameter. If you use a 4" flange, you'll have to heat it up with a hair dryer and add a little lube to the PVC pipe for it to slip on. | |

| I also didn't glue my pieces together. There really is no need because they fit really tight together. | |
