| Like the title says a buddy of mine has an 88 mustang lx. It has the original mirror in it and it's cracked so he wants a mirror like in my park ave. I haven't ever done this before so is there any way to make this easy?
If I used the same mirror in my park ave to do this what wires go where? one is 12v the other is the remote turn on/off and I'm not sure if there is any others.
Please help me,
Bruce | |

| well on my Park ave I have 5 wires leaving the mirror.
I'm guessing: Power-12v ground/common remote turn on/off where do the other 2 go??

| Not too easily I would imagine. I could swear I saw a kit somewhere with an electrochromatic mirror but I don't know where. | |

| Hey Bad, this might help:

Chances are your mustang friend will only need two wires. Hope that helps.

| No, the factory mirror in my dad's GTP started leaking inside itself so he picked up a mirror that's identical to the Riv one out of an Aurora and the mirror wouldn't work. | |

| Hey thanks guys! I'm guessing he doesn't have any wires up there for his old mirror. I think he bought a gentex and it has 5 wires...
It has the optional tab with "Off", "Compass and Compass/mirror tab's.
-Yellow -Light green -Gray -Black - -Pink w/black stripe
are the wires...Now I'm kinda a noob to this and I just want to figure this out for a friend thanks
