All my girls that I hung out with in college seemed to dig it. They liked the comfy seats, big interior, and the color (metallic slate green).

Most guys had something smartass to say about it being a "Grandpa's car" - to which I say, let me see your Grandpa's car, and we'll compare styling and performance. Hope he's rich.

I raced a kid in his early 2000 model V6 Mustang - he had the blue racing stripe over white, and dual exhaust. It had some pep, but I killed him off the line, and it was over before it began.

"Damn, you put a supercharger on that thing?"

No, the factory did it for me. I just added a couple "goodies."

And I just got an emissions check done a week ago, and the ladies working it were very impressed. "How many miles on the car?" 59k. "Wow, that's not very many... this is a beautiful car! This is one of the last years they made them, right?" Yep, a '98. They stopped making them in '99. "I always liked the Riviera."

I never got those kind of complements in my Regal... God, I love this car.

My Regal was faster, but I feel as though I'm more passionate about the Riviera. It's almost like a status symbol!

after hearing that story u got me so hyped up about my car no joke

I just can't justify the expense. I don't mind just driving it but the price of a paintjob isn't worth it on something like my car in the condition it's in. If I had a Volvo with 144k miles that maybe worth considering since those things go 300k+ easy.
