| this past friday i drove to St.Augustine to meet up with Tony (TonySmooth89). i changed his belts in exchange for him tuning my car. after the work we did a little photo shoot down the street from his house. this is the coolest road EVER! maybe one of these can make it into this years calendar. none of these have been edited or altered in any way! _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Ever have someone mistake your Riviera for "Regal" in conversation? It's like a hit below the belt - hurts bad, and you want to kick them back real hard. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| My old boss always asks how the Regal is doing. I think he knows it pisses me off, but he also knows I can beat him in his 350Z. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I remember a thread over at regalgs.org and a member worked for some city and named two streets Riviera Street and Regal Street. Maybe that was the street he was talking about. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| I like the Riviera and all but whats so bad about Regals? I mean, they were the foundation for the Grand National and the GNX which were both badass cars. It's not like he bought a 3rd gen Regal, now those are ugly and slow.
Besides, Regal GSes (Even though this isn't what Corey bought, I get the feeling it will become a GS...) are even bigger sleepers than Rivieras. The GS badge is only on the back in black letters on the tail light that are hard to see and the only other tell-tale sign it's a GS is a black grill instead of a chrome one (Which if I had a GS I'd swap the grill with a chrome one to make it look like a LS). It doesn't even have duals so it's not like anyone would suspect it of being a fast car. Compartively, we have a Supercharged badge on the back and dual pipes which somewhat take away from our sleeper factor.
Heh, probably the reason they never made a two door Regal like they did the Grand Prix was due to the Riviera. Not like Buick could have two supercharged luxury coupes... | |
