I want enough boom that I could be heard by all the cars at the light next to me but I don't need it much louder than that. I'm thinking of just using one of the subs he has in it, pitching the other and selling the box and buying a single 15" box. My dad is suggesting two 10"s as they'd be cheaper and still be loud but I'm not to sure. I know a bit about home audio but I know nada about car audio so some advice would be appreciated!

| Those Volfenhags are crap as far as I'm concerned. This is more what you want (seriously):

More on 10W7 - http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=5
You only need one. If you can find an 8W7, even one of those would be pretty nice. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Holy shit, I wasn't looking to spend that much! If you couldn't tell, car audio stuff is on our craigslist constantly every day and I see a lot of it for what seems to be reasonable prices. I'm not in any rush to stick some in my car but if I find a good deal... Ahh nevermind I see that is his price for the whole setup. That's still a lot of money, I may end up spending it eventually but I couldn't do it all in one big shebang because I'd come to my senses and realize I'm spending too much money | |

| It'll be gone by tomorrow if it isn't already. Stuff goes fast on C's-L. But that was a good deal, and you need something beefy to drive that W7. Not just any old amp will do. Keep an eye out for similar deals. Avoid the crap! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
