| This morning I started my drive to work and got half a block and my gear indicator (lights that show the gears on the dash) started flashing. It looked the same as when I flash an new tune to my PCM via HPT. Didnt seem to affect anything and went right on running, but also has me a little worried. Anyone ever experience this? Im really getting tired of dumping money into this car...this may be the end if I need to replace the PCM. | |

| Did the car possibly stutter once?
I saw a similar thing when the crank sensor was acting up on mine. When I looked for codes, I sometimes found one related to it starting n gear and once a crank sensor error. I let mine go for months to get something consistent enough to find it.

| It didn't stutter at all, didn't throw a code either. So..I guess I'll wait to see if it does happen again. Thanks! | |

| PCMs are odd things. I have flashed mine with the ignition off before, and it stuck! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| My parts car, a '95, SC sat for close to 10 years untouched. It ran great before the chassis failed and I'd like to sell engine/trans, but probably need a video of it running to make the sale. At this point, it turns over fine and is getting fuel, but no spark.
Can the pcm lose its programming over time?

Can the pcm lose its programming over time? No spark = something like the crank sensor is failed and so the car won't finish the startup sequence. Also check the wires to the ignition module and the firewall connector for any that might be broken inside the insulation, 95s were notorious for that problem.
