Chrome Door Handles?

Anyone know where I can get these? Also, anyone have em w/ pics?

Depends on how well you know the parts person at the dealer - need for a knowledgeable one to look up chromed handles on a similar vehicle. I don't know if GM did *any* for our handles' style.

Another way might be to have them chromed but I have no idea how to do that. I imagine you'd get a used set at a boneyard and send them out for chroming.

Funny thing - one service bulletin on the Riv was that the handles painted white at the factory would not stay the right color, they would darken. Had they made them chrome in the first place, might not have been a problem.

i've heard that too about the yellowing of white handles. both on riv's and on vettes (probably quite a few late 90's gm cars w/painted handles). luckily mine look perfectly fine still. maybe it was only on the pure white colors, not the bright white diamond tri-coat.

but to get back on subject, i have seen at least 2 rivs with chrome door handels on cardomain. if i recall one guy had them diped, while the other cut out "chrome" stickers to go over the top part. i would get a used set and send them off to be chromed. it will look much more professional than a DIY.

Never noticed my handles to be miscolored, slightly scratched but not miscolored to the point that they look yellow.

IIRC only the white ones did it, not pearlescent or other colors. And not all of them. And many were replaced by dealers.

Yeah I think chromed handles would look nice, to bad you cant just use the covers they sell at like advanced auto or aotuzone

If you want the covers (just the stick on ones) You can get them from ebay just order em for a malibu or impala. I actually have them on my riv they look pretty sharp but again there just stick ons
