| yes you need to replace your belts...
there's a write-up here for that too. if you're not mechanicly inclined you might wanna pay someone t do it. its a lil booger to do. change your pulleys would be a good idea while ur at it. took me just under 3 hours w/out any breaks to do mine... if you dont know when the last time the sc oil was changed you should do that too. | |

| The paint bubbling on the hood is not that uncommon, mine was was bubbled along the front leading edge when I bought mine.
The hood is aluminum and aluminum does corrode. I had mine stripped, primed and repainted. Cost me $600.00 but I insisted on the whole hood be stripped,
primed with zinc chromate primer, then painted.
Would have been less $$ if I wasn't so particular. | |

In my case they did find corrosion under the bubbling paint and the aluminum needed to be properly treated before priming. | |

| to paint alluminuim u need a special paint for that...it's like acid what burns on it...and then u can use teh other paints on it...whitout the spacial paint a normal paint wount stuck on it. btw..i see u u 'hided' ur front licence plate:D but forgot to hide the rear  hehe | |

| Nice RIV! I bought mine on Craigslist too! As for the bubbled look on the nose, it looks to me as if it has surface rust under the paint. A little elbow grease, some sandpaper, and some paint would fix that right up! | |
