| Welcome! Nice setup! Are you injecting Nitrous and Fuel before the supercharger? I've heard of that causing issues with the seals on the spuercharger vanes. Rich: How's your WOT fuel pressure? I'd look to that for your rich problems. Where are you taking fuel from for the N20 setup? Is it taken from the fuel rail? Can you change fuel/nitrous jets independently, or your N20 fuel pressure? We were having a similar problem on a different motor, had the engine dialed in exactly for A/F without nitrous, but was pig rich while Nitrous was on. Eventually figured out that we had too small of a nitrous jet installed, rookie mistake What kind of Nitrous kit is that? -Derek | |

| well to answer a few questions, yes I will be posting a video of the car on nitrous. like I said before its just a big time tire spinner now but pulls hard in second. I put the purge on it to scare off the weak, haha. I hijacked my steering wheel controls to purge and spray the car so not to use big nasty looking switches. as for the unit and what brand its a coldfusion LS engine wet kit. leperformance.com. my fuel pressure stays right around 45lbs. the kit receives fuel from the fuel rail with the shrader valve removed. this kit is adjustable from 50 to 200 HP to which I have a 75 shot. 41 nos jet 23 fuel jet. the only thing I have to be careful of is letting off the spray during shifts because with stock shift points it wants to hit the limiter which I did once already not a good noise. my advice buy tires before nitrous. the car is probably slower now with all the tire spin. haha. im gonna try slicks before the track closes for the winter. think the transmission will hold? thanks for your comments | |

| The transmissions are known weak points in these cars. Only use the nitrous while positively in gear and away from the shifts... and it might last a little while.? Good luck! I have enough trouble with traction, can't imagine what it's like when you push that button!! How's the torque steer? | |

| Very nice ride, Now I know what the underside of the hood looks like without the insulation, kinda cool. Do you know what tires you are going to go with? | |

I work at a automotive machine shop so im dying to do up a set of heads but why stop there? my point, I better just enjoy what I have now for a while, as you guys know its almost an endless process.

- then 3.4 pulley which i should of went 3.25 because the car is pig rich at 10.40 air fuel
Question: how much knock are you seeing with N2O on? and off? You need to know this before you drop to a 3.25" SC pulley. How are you measuring A/F ratio? Better to command less fuel when rich then to raise boost, imo. - Quote :
- my fuel pressure stays right around 45lbs.
Is this your actual fuel rail pressure? Should be around 70 PSI stock at WOT. If not, I don't know how you're running rich. Nice car. | well because I use hp tuners at my shop I cannot scan my car to measure knock. as far as air fuels I throw it on the dyno and use a wide band o2 where my cat used to be. my car it pretty quite so you could here if in trouble . cannot make full pull because of the speed governor.will post numbers soon. thanks for the comment on my fuel pressure only checked it at idle and 2500 or so. smart right, ill drive it tomorrow with the gauge hooked up and see where im at WOT. to much stuff I want to do. for now my priorities are tune, and tires ,!

| I agree, tuning for about 11-11.5 A/F is where you want to be for optimum power, just be careful dropping the pulley, even if A/F looks ideal. You can still get some knock without being lean, depending on timing advance. In my case, I saw zero KR on the dyno with 11.5 A/F, but on the street I saw quite a bit of knock with the extra load to the wheels. Imo, you want to advance timing as far as possible, while keeping A/F at optimum power, and KR at zero... in a perfect world.
If you could somehow automate the N2O to activate automatically with throttle, you could use it as a knock suppressant, and tune for more power. But with manual use, I would be afraid to be at WOT without the N2O on. Could be knock city. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

I was pretty sure HP Tuners can record/measure knock, and remove the speed governor. Can it not do those things?

| thank you all, HP tuners does not support 96 rivs when I plug it in it just says cannot communicate with vehicle. so that's where my 97 PCM comes into play. my hope is all will work well. | |
