I added some BG 44k, drove home with no real issue except the lack of power. When I got down to about 1/4 tank I filled I up and after sloshing it around it still runs the same. The exhaust is still glowing a little orange. I'm all but convinced it's a mass air flow issue and it's running rich. My old motor had an intake full of coolant, even up in the intake tube and throttle body, so I'm thinking coolant contaminated/ruined the MAF.

bad gas is bad gas. Anymore pump gas (winter gas, anyway) is NG after ~90 days. And BG 44K is a fule system cleaner *not* a fuel stabilizer, they are 2 different things...

glad you got it home though.

as for that oxy sensor, want to scan or scope it first to see what the oxy sensor output looks like... ?

That was why I made the thread in the first place...

I swapped a few more injectors and replaced the mass air flow. Same problem. If I disconnect the battery and start it up, it runs perfect for about 5-10 seconds, then the check engine light pops on, I hear a sucking noise from inside the intake, then it starts running like before. If I don't disconnect the battery, then it runs this way as soon as I start it up.

If you really want to dump the gas, you can disconnect the injector rail, jump the fuel pump relay under the back seat and let it all pour into a bucket under the hood. I got about 12 gallons of bad gas out that way.

Bad gas would def make it run bad, but not turn the check engine light on just ten seconds after it started. And the car also wouldn't run perfectly up until the check engine light pops on. It's something electrical for sure. I work for a Lincoln dealer and we don't have any equipment that works on my car. We do own a Buick/GMC franchise but it's on the other end of town. I think on my day off, Monday, I'm gonna go and borrow their scanner.
