| just bought a steering wheel cover today. How do you get the f'n thing on. It's like those f'n condoms they gave away in college, two sizes too small The one I picked up has imitation wood on the wrap so it's not a spandex one. Is there a universal size for wheel covers or should I bring mine back. | |

| its universal and just takes some working. its easier if its warm outside, kinda like fitting a tire to a rim i usually start at the top of the wheel and work around and down, pulling and stretching it out. its rubber and i've never broken one. i have the plood/black leather wheel on mine and i really like it. it sets the wheel apart and still ties it to the dash.(mine at least) and i have dark gray mats with light gray int. sorry i dont have any pics of it. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I'll give it another go this weekend, it should be around 60 degrees I always thought wheel covers were cheap and trashy but standing in the isle I had a thought, "protect steering wheel paint". I'm sure all my wheel groping has taken a toll on the appearance, luckly only the sides not on top like I usually see. So I broke down and bought one. This is the beginning of a series of cheap ways to protect the Riv and shake things up a bit with the monochromatic interior. The one I picked up has portions that are beige 'leather' and the rest a nice blonde wood. I wanted a blond wood dash kit but havn't found the right wood shade I was looking for. I'll post some victory pics of the wheel cover when I get it on. Mabey you guy can help me find a wood dash that matches what you see in the pic. In addition to the wheel cover I wanted to get some of the same or similar colored beige seat covers in 'leather'. Any brand recommendations are welcome and needed our seats are kinda different, And to finnish the tri-accent challenge some tan floormats. And that should be enough, hopefully everthing turns out the way I envision it. | |

| SUCCESS!!! took me 5 minutes and it was warm inside the car. It was a real challenge but there is a method, I'll have to draw it up and post if here sometime. I have some close ups so you can see the color and style wood I'd be interested in for a dash kit shows up nice from the outside here a pic of the product from Bell brand at Traget and the cup holder chage organizer I was talking about before | |

| the change cup holder is great for going through the tolls.
I didn't buy all the accesories at once but I'll try and tie in the new scheme. It's too dark in there now. I need to brighten things up. | |

| just checked, I think I found where the change organizer could have been but mine is gone. I won't be looking for another one, it seems kinda awkward to open your console and reach back in there just to get a few coins. It's like the location of the cup holder in a Solstice, just weird. | |
