FAQ: High Mile Club - Wear/Repair Reports

I've put 102k on mine in 3.5 years. Purchased in June '03 with 24.5k, now have 126.5k miles.

wow Aaron, your past my mileage and its 2 yrs newer. but, then again mileage tells nothing to our cars or our engines

had about 100k when i bought it 3 years ago. now has 136K and still runs and looks better than most new cars

95 model sportin' a 127 clicks. She drives like new. I'm the second owner and I bought it in 97 with 29k.

i think you have the lowest mileage riv on the forum...and one of the lowest i've ever seen! i keep track of every tank of gas too

Haha, no I'm at like 60k, I've driven 9,904.1, not sure of the exact number because I haven't seen it for 3 months.

I know your pain. I haven't seen her in over a year. She's sittin' right over 100k. Bought her 76k.

My Riv is at 131,672 and is still running strong !!!!! only a water pump !!!!!!

Holy Hell! Why? I just fill her up and go! I guess I watched it more when it was approching 100k...but mileage doesn't bother me too much. I don't care about MPG either. If she needs to be fed, I feed her. IMO that's just the price to pay for "happy motoring".

i keep an eye on mpg b/c it tells alot about how the engine is running. if i take a long trip and only get 26mpg then i know i either passed too much or maybe i need a new fuel filter,plugs, intake cleaning, etc.

OIC. That puts a different perspective on it. My bad.

It's basically a maintenance log of the conditions during the fuel run and any maint. done as well. It's neat to look back and see how different circumstances affected the car.

I bought my Riviera in April of '04 with 133k miles, and now I'm at about 186k. Looking forward to 200k!

I've put on about 4k in the 6 months I've had my 98. It's my daily work car, and weekend cruiser, until summer anyway. Then my 68 GS350 comes out to play. I'm planning some fun stuff with the 68, looking at buying headers and 2.5" mandrel exhaust system.

yeah, crazy right. I got it just before I went off to college. Can't tell me I didn't have Riv withdrawals

Bought at 68k now have 107k, just under 40k in the 5 years I owned her.

I got my '92 in 1996 at 90,000 it now has 215,600 miles on it, don't drive it too much anymore.
Got my '95 in 1999 with just over 26,000 miles on it now has 53,000.
Got my '99 in 2005 with 59,422 miles on it and it is at 64,000.
I also keep track of fill ups, for maintenance tracking and to make sure everything is as it should be.

Bought her last August at about 61k on the clock. I've put 10k on her since.

It's the most reliable car I have ever had.

Bout my 1995 December 27th 2006 with 31,575..
now has 33,374......
i definetly have one of the lowest miled Rivs.....
i know there was sumone who has close to nothing on a silver arrow? like 8 thousand or sumthin..

That was a Silver Arrow #21, on eBay a while back, it was advertised as having "8" miles on it!
