| turns out it wasnt the chain and just like the guy said on here, it was the intake manifold gasket leaking. gasket is $45 and hes taking it off tomorrow and we are draining the fluids and everything tomorrow after the gasket is replaced | |

| i got the upper manifold and lower manifld gaskets for $60. I had my girlfriend flirt with the guy at Advance Auto and he gave her his employee discount or else it would have been $90. When my uncle removed the intake and showed me the gasket, the o rings were all frayed and it was shot to shit to say the least. There were leaks in two areas of the plenum gasket alone and we didnt even see the lower gasket yet. So tomorrow evening the Millenium Falcon should be running again. | |

| i spent a few hours cleaning that manifold. it was black when i started. it was shiny aluminum gray when i was finished. it looks almost brand new. | |
