| Hey everyone. While I'm new to this board, I've been on V8Buick for a while (MrSportwagon). My first Riviera was a 68. Loved it so much. I bought the 98 about 5 years ago with 19,000 miles on it. Can't say enough good things about the car. Anyway, I'm pretty familiar with the ins and outs of the Riv and thought there is some info I can offer here as well as you guys helping me when I get stuck. Anyway, just crossed over 107,000 miles and still running as good as the day I bought her. Couple more things. I chose Playa for my name here since that is the custom plates I have on the Riv (trust me, girls dig it). Also, to prove I'm a Buick fan (Riviera in particular), I have the vintage crosshatch "R" tattoed on my right arm.  | |

| I have to say I am impressed with the amount of young people on this side versus the V8Buick side. Not to stereotype, but I thought I was among a few select (young people - I guess that's not the case as much anymore) that saw Buick and Riviera for that matter for what they are/were. When I get a chance, I'll start checking out the threads to see what you all have on this site. I'll post tat when I get a chance too. Thanks all. | |
