| my rear plastic has actually been sanded down and clear coated, but that stuff works great on the side trim to make it rich and shinny. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Very nice car. excellent pic's. I love the wood grain with the Burgundy interior. Where was the group of photo's taken with the brick building near the water.? What is that building used for.? Just curious.

| God how I wish I had your interior! That color looks really rich, and the burled overlay goes great with it... BTW, I just mentioned in another thread that Stoner Trim Shine is also an effortless way to treat the rocker panels and air dams. It's even aerosol, so no pumping while trying to follow a straight line to avoid overspray... Here's a LINK to 3 glowing Amazon reviews. | |

It’s a water treatment facility. There are several buildings on sprawling land by the water. The exterior is old but inside its state of the art. - Eldo wrote:

Here's a LINK to 3 glowing Amazon reviews. Believe it or not Eldo, I have said elsewhere on these forums that I would have liked to have a tan interior. Although I do like my interior I think that a burgundy ext. with a tan interior are a classic combo. If I did have a tan interior this is the colour inlay I would use… Thanks for the Stoner Trim Shine link aswell! - robotennis61 wrote:

| Looks great! I like the exhaust touch too. Might just go with that for when I get my new mufflers installed. So far I used a graphite colored high heat paint for them but I like the flat black look better. | |

| Well, its been a pretty productive spring, summer and fall. I got a lot of things done that I have been meaning to do. So here is the latest… First of all, thanks to the members on Riv Performance ( Mr. Riviera and Beadle Borg ) I was able to replace the center cap I lost last winter… I finally aquired the FSMs for my 96, so now all my paperwork is in order... I always thought the “3.8L L67” badge looked pretty cool, so I installed that… I never liked the cassette holder unit under the ashtray, so I replaced it with a cavity replacement unit… Then, I decided to remove the HVAC unit and Head unit and replace the bulbs and fixed the cassette player… My switch plate holder on the arm rest had a small crack where some genius tried to pry it off trying to remove the door panel, and the letters were beginning to fade. So I found like new switch plates, painted them with SEM paint and purchased Sherwood switch plate covers in the same wood grain pattern with the text embedded… Now the interior was starting to look good, but every day I was staring at the steering wheel which was turning black and the texture had all but worn off. So I found a really nice steering wheel at a yard, painted it with SEM paint and installed that… Here is the whole interior… The one thing that was driving me nuts was the worn out dimming side view mirror, so I popped it off and replaced it with a nice clean mirror from an Aurora. No, the heated function does not work. Last but not least, with all this time and money invested in the car I decided to change the LIM and valve cover gaskets… I hope she treats me good because I've been treating her like a queen. Anyway, the car looks and drives great and I am really happy with her after 155 000miles!
