| Have always been a JL fan since their beginning. They just had something worth paying extra for. Nowadays they have lots of competition at some very low prices. But they still have the upper hand, imo. Check out this tour of their facility in Florida. This would be a sweet place to work, imo:

| Awesome stuff man! I love JL. Their amps are amazing.
When I had my RX8 and escalade I just had a little 10" JL W1V2 sub powered by a alpine V-power amp and most people thought I had 2 12" or 2 15" subs.

| I also had a single 10" W1 (original v1) in my car during college. Large ported box venting through the rear deck, tuned to 18 Hz. Powered it with a single RF Punch 40 amp. Man, those were the days. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| My first set of subs were 2 12" JL Audio W1's. Bought a bandpass box as they were the coolest looking... lol Shortly thereafter built a sealed box with my Uncle. Man those 12's were LOUD.
Next summer I bought another set of them 4 12s in a Beretta.
To this day I havent had a system that can rival it in quality and quantity of bass...

| I still have my old 10W1, sitting in the closet. I just kept it around for the memories. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
