| I found this forum and I think it's awesome since I son't know many people that drive a Riviera. I'm 18, and have been driving since my 16th birthday. My dad bought a 1992 Riv about 10 years ago off a guy who was moving out of the state and wanted to sell the car.
Since then, I have basically grew up with the car. My dad put a lot of work into it and I'm hoping to keep it as long as possible. It's got a 3.8, automatic trans. It's painted a cream color with a tan vinyl top and tan interior. I'll throw up some pictures soon.
It runs pretty good right now. There are a few problems, but we're working on it. I love Rivieras. My friends think I'm crazy, all they appreciate are import tuners. I like those too, but I've been around this Riv for a long time.
I clean the thing damn near every week. I'm lookin to tint the windows and replace the vinyl top this summer.

| Welcome, Kevin. As you can see from my pictures, I own two '92 Rivs...just love the slantback rear quarters. How about joining the Riviera Owners Association..a number of us on this forum belong...great bunch of folks and always willing to help. Go to www.rivowners.org. The ROA puts out a full color magazine every other month which highlightes members cars, buy and sell, tech tips,and other riv articles. ROA regions hold various events and each June there's a national 4 day event w/ peer judging...all great fun! | |

| Thanks Ship. I'll definitely join the Riviera Owner's Association. My dad told me about that, I just never got around to it.
