| I know shit all about diagnostics but it sounds like a fuel problem.have you taken apart the ignition module? they can get cheesy in winter.take it apart and clean it real good ,spread a little dialectric grease on it and reinstal. check your coil packs too. | |

| Do you have spark? If yes, are the injectors firing?
I would be willing to bet you have no spark, or the spark is way off, and you may have a broken wire to the crank position sensor or cam position sensor, or a bad one of those sensors.
What were you doing the last time it ran? Prior to this no-start, was the car running okay?
Is your car supercharged?

| Sounds like you need to verify your wiring harness. The wires have been known to get brittle and break near the firewall connector.
It would help a LOT when looking for help in a car forum to use full sentences and detailed explanations. I don't like to be a grammar nazi, but your description is very hard to follow. I understand most people are using mobile devices, and that's too bad because it makes helping you very difficult.
many times the code thrown does NOT mean you should replace that sensor. It means there is another problem causing that sensor to throw an alert or go out of range. Rarely does the actual sensor go bad.

| Had the same symptoms with mine. Fuel pump finally died and it wouldn't start at all. Found a faulty fuel injector, also. | |

| Would also try checking all the grounds. They can cause occasional sputters! | |

throwing parts at it will cost you a flipping fortune. have to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail schraeder valve and check FP operation in the startup sequence. Could be fuel pump, could be fuel pressure regulator (they last a long time but not forever), could be something else. This is a job for a scanner to read the sensors during the startup sequence. Can you get to one?

thanks for the help.. Search for "scanner" on this site. You will see some ideas of where other members got their scanners, what model, et cetera.

| Have a no-start issue, came out of the blue. Went to start as I always do. Engine turned over one revolution and then everything is dead. Inserting the key does not activate the accessories, even the remote will not lock/unlock the doors. Lights don't turn on. The car is completely dead.
Battery should be good, as it started the car just fine this morning, so I suspect a bad connection or a fuse. Checking these now. Any other ideas?
EDIT: loose battery terminal. Problem solved. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| I was going to suggest loose battery terminal. Your symptoms exactly described it. Glad you found it okay! | |
