Stripped Screws - MPS hub/pulley

I stripped the crap outta a few of the hex screws on my MPS hub... umm any ideas on how to swap pulleys now? FML

Well ya.. that is what im gonna do BUT... how do i get the dang screws outta there now? they are still threaded in

Drill and Easy Out, or bring to a mechanic who can.

Can you get vise grips on them? Maybe try pounding in a torx or flat head bit. Make sure you get the ZZP screws, they're the best.

I assumed they were countersunk allen screws?

they are counter sunk allen screws from the smoothflowpulleys dude

You wont if you use a smaller drill bit and stay centered. The easy outs screw into the drilled hole and back the screw out. You'll need to pull the snout off to do this right. Send it to a machine shop if you're worried about messing up.

Since Allen heads are basically pre-drilled, I should think that the right set of Grabit's would do the trick...

It works, Eldo, but thanks for using the link code. It's much more board friendly. The [url] code isn't the "main" way, but it's often the lazy way!

Just leave the pulley you have on now. Start the car, open the hood, get a chisel and machine the hub the smaller diameter you want.....oh and please get pics. Thanks!

He turned out to the real CHICKEN.
He removed and replaced the whole supercharger with another one. Rather than fix or attempt to fix the bad one on the car he replaced it with a Gen 5.
What a pussy. Heh.

It's pretty obvious when you swap a Gen 3 for a Gen 5.

I don't know, 20 HP is "nancy boy" compared to watching a chisel get snagged between SC pulley and belt... followed by the carnage that could possibly ensue. No pics, though. That's bad for business!

Anyway, for me it will be a month or two, definitely before the winter.
I still have wheels and tires to buy, then the N* kit, air intake set up and all gaskets, etc.
