| Okay, I know what comes to mind when you say stickers - the stuff like NOS and other performance parts and stuff. I'm not talking about those kind, I'm talking about just neat stickers. Awhile back I thought a Ghostbusters sticker would be kidna cool, but more recently I think given that my Riviera is white some Galactic Empire logos in the corners on the back side windows on each side of the car might be cool. Heh, I'm talking about this logo: Although I'm kinda thinking of putting that on one side and putting this on the other: But those would be the only stickers - no more after these or in addition to. Being the fan of Star Wars I am, seems fun. This almost begs a white/black combo on my car. Black out the grille, black out the rear chrome, get black rims. lol, seems dorky when you think of the inspiration but I think it might genuinely look cool too. It would be too big and silly but I could also put a gigantic Galactic empire logo on the back window - but I might as well just get NERD across the front too if I did that. Anyone else have stickers of any sort on your Riv? | |

| I have a sticker inside the rear window that says "Art". It's the logo at the college I work for. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| lol, like the Brooklyn accent Rob. I never even pay attention to those No Fear stickers or the ones that say Fear this. Fear what, your car? Unless you're driving the wrong way on the road or drunk or something I'm not going to fear your car... Basically though, you all don't think it'd be too trashy or degrading of the car? These are 4" x 4" stickers so they're not gigantic, just about the right size to be seen. If they had 3" x 3"s I'd order those but haven't seen any. I certainly don't plan to end up here: So tacky and (no offense) liberal. I don't know what it is with all those stupid "Keep [insert city] Weird", we have those around here too. So cliche. Maybe okay for Corollas, Geos, and other cheap clunkers but definitely not a nicer car. So before applying the stickers to the window should I do anything other than just spray the glass and wipe it down? | |

| I have more respect for people who at least put their stickers on the window glass. Stickers on paint usually indicates the owner doesn't care about their paint. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Oh yes, never ever on the paint. I'd only put them on my windows. The first car I had which we bought only to resell ('92 Toyota Celica GT) the lady who had it had an old faded American flag bumper sticker on the back next to the tail light and another sticker that I forget now. Took me a few minutes with a blow dryer to carefully work it's way off there. I just think it looks stupid when you put it on the body itself - it interrupts the car by having some silly nonsense stuck on it. At least on the windows it won't do irreversible damage. | |

| Haha agreed, never put stickers on the paint, just the windows. Especially with your clean paint, Shintsu, I would keep stickers only on the window. They'd look good I think, maybe just one in the lower-driver's side corner. I have Infinity decals and a Browning logo decal that looks like frosted glass(driver's side only) on my rear side windows, and on the back window I have my lifetime NRA member seal sticker on the bottom-driver's side corner, across the 3rd light is my Binghamton decal, and I have a static cling for the Snowbird ski resort on the bottom-passenger's side. They're all applied from inside the car, except for the Binghamton decal, which went on the outside.
Sounds like a lot but it's nothing really noticable. I agree, also, that whenever you see a car absolutely covered in bumper stickers, they're usually ultra-liberal. From what I see, anyway. | |

| No stickers on the paint for me. I have some NRA stickers in the lower left hand corner of the rear window on the Regal and the 00Silverado. The truck has a small HK sticker in the lower right hand corner of the rear window. No stickers on the Riv. Bert

| I don't like stickers on cars. But I did have a Riviera Owners Association sticker on the inside of one of my windows once... until my daughter tore it off... | |

| Question for those of you puttin' the stickers on the inside - how are you doing it? Most stickers are designed with the adhesive on the back, where if you wanted to put it on your car you'd have to put it on the outside to see it from the outside. Are the stickers you're using made to be put on the inside of a window with the sticky part reversed or are you using some other way to get it there? Also, do you have tinted windows? My windows are - I'm guessing at the tint since no one remembers anymore but my mom's LeSabre has really really dark tint, I think 3-5% (Not sure if they use numbers that low, it's probably a 5% though) - I'd put my tint at probably 10%. My tint is really dark so you can't see much through it but if you look through the side window and look at the windshield through it you can kinda see but it's not easy. The LeSabre is DARK, you have to get right up on it and then hold your hands up to your eyes to see anything. I feel like my tint is the level right beneath. I swear that my tint was legal so it might be the darkest legal tint in KY but I dunno - I thought we had receipts where they tinted the windows on it and they never give you one for illegal tints. All that considered, I'm not too sure you could actually see the sticker from the inside is my point. It's fine to put it on the outside right? I mean I don't have to worry about it not staying put or falling off? Didn't know we had so many NRA members here either! Fine by me though | |

| I have no tint and wanted to put them on the inside anyway, so while they are reversed I like the look. Thin, flimsy lettering will start to bubble after a year even with good prep work, but bigger designs outside should be fine. Use a sticker scraper with the razor in it and the usual alcohol pad to prep the glass and you should be fine. | |
