| Fantastic collection of Rivieras!! I hope you're a Riviera Owners Assoc member and would show them off at the 2010 international meet. I met one guy and his son at the 2007 meet in Asheville who had 11 in a barn in Arkansas..all running and all registered. | |

Ship, yes I belong to ROA and I was at Ashville with a friend and her Astro blue/white 72. She and I did the advance work for Galena in 08. I am planning to head to PA next year and Danvers for BCA in '11-See you there!

| very nice. I like the turbo convertibles. Someone local is selling an 84 turbo convertible but I can't afford it I thought they only built 11 84 turbo convertibles. | |

| Kevin...I guess you are an ROA member!...long standing/well respected in fact with such a low member # (my appologies for not realizing this). I remember the blue/white boat tail riv while at Ashville and I attended Galena (took 3rd at Ashville and 4th at Galena in the 86-99 class). My wife and I will be attending 2010 ROA meet in PA. And, because its our own BCA Minuteman chapter that's hoasting the 2011 BCA meet in Danvers, MA, we'll not only be showing our riv's but also working the event. | |

| Kevin...just another thought. Its amazing how many folks who own rivieras also own toronados and/or cadillacs (or are in the hunt for them) being sister cars and all for many years. Beside the two rivs, my wife and I also own two eldorados and are currently looking at an 85 eldo w/ stainless steel roof. | |

I thought they only built 11 84 turbo convertibles. The ROA website did list 8, then 11 and now 47 cars. www.rivieraconvertible.com registry lists 47 also.

| The Riviera and Toronado defined personal luxury in the 60's so both would appeal to us. My dad bought a 70 Toro for me to go off to college with in 1973. Later I bought a 66 to haul my Hobie Cat with. They were great cars before the 70s. The acceleration in my Rivs reminds me of the 455 in the 70 Toro. However I like the MPG, and stereo in my 99 Riv better. | |
