| Finally have my tune good enough to support the 3.2" for daily driving and hopefully racing later this month. I was nervous about this, as .2" down is quite a jump. When I first put it on, I was seeing 3-5 deg KR pretty easily. Now, getting knock with normal driving is nearly impossible. During WOT I do see a couple degrees up high in 2nd gear, and in 3rd above 100mph, but nothing to worry about. See my PowrTuner log in the Tuning forum for more on how I got it to work. The car definitely feels quicker. "Fatter" torque curve is one way to describe it. Not a huge difference, but this pulley was only $60, and gains get smaller and smaller at this stage. I notice a swift tug after each shift that I was missing before, so I know I picked up some low-end twist. Also very happy to get it to work with boost near 13 PSI now. Hopefully will be ready for IDD at the end of the month... going for a 13.7 and to break into the 100 mph club. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| did you throw on the 3.5" s/c upper idler pulley with the 3.2", or are you still just using the larger s/c tensioner pulley? | |

| I used the 3.5" idler + the 3.5" tensioner pulley. If you don't, the belt will actually rub against itself near the tensioner. Not good! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Well I know I said the car "feels" faster now, but I didn't expect everyone to just take my word for it, so had to show you all a little proof (needed to convince myself as well!). Took a scan last week after dialing in the 3.2", then compared to a similar scan from 2 weeks ago when the 3.4" was on. Both scans were done at the exact same location, 40ºF, running 94 octane: Doesn't get any clearer, imo. 3.4" (blue) is outperformed by 3.2" (yellow) by more than a noticeable margin... even though I screwed the launch for the 3.2" run. And look how she takes off after the 1-2 upshift!!! Btw, the time units aren't in seconds (one area where AutoTap falls short. Still, consistent for comparison though). If I can just master the launch of the 3.2"; it's getting a bit tricky now. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
